Keith and Kathy Gotreaux started Sun Sports, Inc. in March of 1988. The building consisted of 900 square feet. the main focus of the business was retail, trophy awards and screenprinting. After just six months of being open, the business outgrew the building it was in and was moved to where it is located now.

In 1992, Sun Sports added embroidery to its many other services by purchasing two embroidery machines. This caused us to expand again by buying the building next door. Keith and Kathy then had the buildings combined to become one building.

In January 1998, Sun Sports purchased two new four head embroidery machines. With business constantly growing,in December of 2001, Sun Sports purchased an automatic screen printing press, hich is capable of printing 600 shirts an hour.

In January 2002, Keith and Kathy added a warehouse to the back of the store. Sun Sports now consists of 17,000 square feet of retail and production. With the equipment and the work force, we are now capable of handling large orders with speed, accuracy and expertise. In 2007, Sun Sports has expanded to nearly 20,000 square feet.

From the very beginning, we based our company business on the philosophy of providing great products coupled with friendly service all designed to keep the customers happy.

The employees of Sun Sports emphasize the importance of God, Family and business in that order, in their operation everyday. This business was founded on the Lord and He alone has blessed it tremendously.
